Adoption Awareness Walk/ Run is seeking community support. Our event will take place on Saturday, August 15 th 2020. All our community sponsors will be recognized throughout the planning process of the event and on the day of event. In the past, we have received support from gift cards to monetary donations. Below is a little bit about our ministry and the vision behind the event.
Broken Together Ministry was created to bring an adoption-centered event to communities in the surrounding Indianapolis area. We are a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit. As a direct result of this ministry, the Adoption Awareness Run/Walk formed. We have helped several families on their journey to adoption and look forward to helping many more along the way. For 2020, our focus will be celebrating adoption. We are thrilled to come along side families who have previously adopted, are in the process of adoption, have been called to adopt and families that foster or are participating in Safe Families. We hope to increase community bonds and trust with the opportunity to share each other’s stories. We know we can’t do it without our community. Yearly we ask for the support of you, our community, to make this event possible. Any help is appreciated.
Please contact me Brynn Cochran if you are willing to help at 317-987-4486 or email@example.com.

2020 Supported Family :
Here is a little message from our new sponsor family,
Derek and Hollie
“We prayed long and hard on how we should expand our family. We both have struggled with infertility issues and tried several medications and it came to a head when both of our fertility doctors said it was time to consider IVF. God put it on our hearts that adopting was the way to go. We want to help a child who is already on this Earth have a beautiful and full life, and that’s why it was such an easy choice for us to start this journey.
At this time, we have completed our home study, and have sent in our I-800A application (Determination of Suitability to Adopt a Child from a Convention Country, to initiate the immigration process if you intend to adopt a child who habitually resides in a Convention country), and will be pursuing an adoption of a child from Burkina Faso, Africa. After our application is approved, we’ll begin working on our dossier to be sent to Africa.
We have been married 11 years and live on the west side of Indianapolis with our two dogs, Maverick and Larry. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to sporting events and concerts, and just hanging out together.
Derek and I hope you’ll join us in participating in this year’s event to help us get a little closer to our dream of adoption!”
