The Hero Dog Jog 5k is back for a 3rd running. In 2016 Kaylee Pearson, a Decatur Central Senior, launched this 5K run/walk as a senior project. She was able to make a huge impact for her community and raise over $11,000 for the IMPD K-9 Unit. Now after a small hiatus, the event is BACK!
The Hero Dog Jog 5k will take place on Decatur school property making for a fast, flat, and well supported 5k Run/Walk. Community members and runners/walkers from around the city, be sure to mark October 10th on your calendars and register today to support the local pups who put their lives on the line daily for their handlers, and for our city! Let’s support Kaylee as she moves forward to support these silent Hero’s! We look forward to seeing you all on race day!
Race SWAG: The Race Tees are super soft and comfy and will definitely be a wardrobe staple. Shirts were guaranteed to the first 200 registered. The artwork on the shirt was hand drawn by Hamilton Southeastern High School Sophmore Riley Newton.

Volunteers Needed: Earn yourself some good karma with the IMPD!
