No. Each athlete MUST pick up their own race packets and have photo ID present. USAT annual members must show their card or other proof of membership.
Yes. You can register on race day or at the early packet pickup event Friday if the race is not full. We will cap the event at 550 athletes.
Sorry. USAT rules do not allow the use of headphones or the use of personal audio devices at any time during the race. This rule is for the safety of yourself and all other race participants.
There will be aid stations available on the Half Distance bike course.
Half Bike Aid & Restroom:
1 Gatorade bottle and 2 Water bottles are available for exchange. Water will be at mile 14.5 and 41.5. Gatorade will be at mile 28. We will also have a restroom at mile 28.
You’ll hit an aid station about every 1.5 miles at the sprint/olympic turn arounds, and the half turn around near transition.
All aid stations will have Gatorade, Water, and a restroom.
The HALF specifically, will have one at the start of the run, and mile 6.55 will also have Pretzels, Granola Bars, Bananas, and Coke to aid you for the start and middle of your run.
Sprint Run Aid Station: 1.5 Mile Mark
Olympic Run Aid Stations: 1.5 Mile Mark, 3.1 Mile Mark, 4.6 Mile Mark
Half Run Aid Stations: 1.5, 3.1, 3.52, 5.12, 6.55, 7.98, 9.58, 10, 11.6
So far so good. The Litchfield Triathlou has been wetsuit legal every year since its inaugural race. The water temperature will need to be under 78 degrees to be wetsuit legal. We will keep athletes informed in a pre-race email. Expect to see that in your inboxes with in days of the race.
The awards presentation will take place at 10:00 AM for the Sprint, 11:00 AM for the Olympic, & 3:00 PM for the Half. Times are approximate and may change based on the finishing times of the field.
